Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates
I completed my Bachelor of Science, with a major in Kinesiology, from Simon
Fraser University. After that I worked as a personal trainer before starting my Masters of Physical Therapy degree at UBC. After completing my degree in 2013, I worked in private practice on the North Shore.
In the spring of 2016, I moved over to the Kits area, and joined the team at West 4th Physio. I am certified in Acupuncture (CAFCI), Stott Pilates (all apparatus), and am pursuing my Orthopedic Manual Therapy Levels.
I’m a strong believer in the benefits of an active lifestyle, and exercise prescription is an important part of my treatment. I enjoy working with people of all activity levels and injury types. I especially enjoy working on core stability with my patients. My treatments include a combination of hands on manual therapy, exercise, and needling.
I enjoy being active, and have been training and competing in triathlons since 2001. Outside of work I also enjoy learning languages, singing in choir and cycle touring. I spent the last year riding from London to Vietnam – yes, all by bike!
