Originally from the Okanagan, Dee is currently a resident of Kitsilano, and is thoroughly enjoying life and work as a physiotherapist!  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of British Columbia in 2002, and continued on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2005.  She has worked in several leading physiotherapy clinics in Vancouver, and joined West 4th Physiotherapy Clinic in Sept 2007.  When Dee is not treating a variety of orthopedic and sports related injuries at the clinic, she is working to improve pediatric conditions at BC Children’s Hospital, helping to treat spine patients at VGH, or developing individualized exercise programs for seniors at residences in greater Vancouver.

Dee is constantly upgrading her skills, and has recently obtained her Intermediate Diploma in Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy.  Her treatment approach involves education, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and acupuncture, as well as modalities when indicated.  She believes that by taking an active approach to their treatment, clients will only add to their success with respect to physical healing and functional improvement.

Dee’s interests outside of physiotherapy include running and resistance training (among numerous other more periodic physical activities), photography, music, dance, family, friends, and world traveling!
