Originally, Jennifer’s training was at the University of Toronto where she graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physiotherapy. Upon graduation, she spent three rewarding years providing neurological rehabilitation at the G. F. Strong Centre. She assisted clients with stroke and spinal cord impairments.
Jennifer transferred her focus to orthopaedics in 1995 after completing the three month manual therapy course. She finished her Part B manual therapy training in 1998. She received her acupuncture certification in 2005 and IMS training in 2006. Most recently, she received her level one bike fitter certification.
Jennifer enjoyed practicing orthopaedics and occupation rehabilitation in Surrey for the past 15 years. She has always involved herself in team and individual sports. She enjoys coaching her 2 wonderful children in their various sports. Jennifer has completed ironman twice and continues to be a recreational triathlete, runner and hockey player. These experiences have been invaluable in helping her appreciate reconditioning after sports injuries, subtleties of positional comfort on a bike, and return to functional activities post partum.
Jennifer enjoyed the therapeutic relationships she made in Surrey and looks forward to establishing her clientele in Kitsilano when making connections within this community. Her goal is to share her expertise to assist her clients with their orthopaedic, sports, and post partum health needs. She is excited to join the West 4th team of therapists and staff.
