Cassidy graduated from the Master’s of Physical Therapy program at the University of British Columbia after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She also has her Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Certification and is pursuing advanced certification.
While completing her schooling, Cassidy was also a high-level dancer with semi-professional dance companies based out of Vancouver, as well as working as a dance instructor.
Cassidy has experience with many different client populations including athletes, geriatrics, neurological populations, post-surgical, and chronic pain. She enjoys seeing clients of all ages and abilities. Regardless of the injury or condition, Cassidy takes a goal-oriented approach and strives to get her clients back to doing the things that are important to them. She enjoys using a multimodal approach to rehab and giving her clients the tools they need to be successful. A session with Cassidy will include client-education, manual therapy, and active rehabilitation tailored to each individual.
In her spare time, Cassidy lives an active lifestyle and is always out hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, jogging, or biking. After a long hiatus, she is also getting back into skiing!
Cassidy is always keen to continue learning and develop her skill-set as a physiotherapist. She is in the process of obtaining her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Dry Needling/IMS certification will come after that.
